BLOGGERS AND COMMENTERS – EDITORIAL GUIDELINES

ThinkCopper.org provides a digital space for people to discuss copper news, trends and applications. We want to hear from you, and we encourage industry conversation. Please understand that this is a moderated blog. Due to antitrust issues, all blog comments will be reviewed prior to posting. As a result, there will be a delay in the posting of comments and not all comments will be posted. We are also dedicated to ensuring a professional level of civility. Profanity and abusive language will not be tolerated. Comments may also be removed after they are posted.

We encourage your comments, but require that when commenting you:

  1. Obey the law, including copyright, antitrust, fair use, and financial disclosure laws.

We will remove any content that breaks the law, condones or encourages unlawful activity or infringes on the rights of any third party. This includes breach of copyright, defamation, and contempt of court. We will remove any content that encourages any activity that could be detrimental to the safety or wellbeing of others. We will remove any content that appears to impersonate someone else.

  1. Don’t spam.

We will remove any content that advertises products or services for profit, or any repetitive promotional messages.

  1. Respect your audience.

We will remove any content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful or embarrassing to any person or entity as determined by ThinkCopper.org in its sole discretion.

  1. Respect others’ privacy.

We will remove any content that contains email addresses or other personal contact details. Website addresses will be checked for authenticity.

  1. Obtain approval before citing or referencing a business partner, member, or supplier. When you do make a reference, link back to the source where possible.
  2. You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to contribute to this blog.

ThinkCopper.org reserves the right (but is not obligated) to remove any content or links to content that violate our Editorial Guidelines, and to block violators from participating in the ThinkCopper conversation. We reserve the right to remove off-topic comments or threads. You will not be notified of any post that is edited or removed for content.
